WEDGE Chair

Wedge is a chair with solid oak legs and an upholstered seat. The backrest is available in wood or upholstered. The chair features a forward-facing cantilevered seat. Although it is very visual, its origins have little to do with this aesthetic, rather this design is the result of function and rationality in the construction of chairs. The starting point of the design was a reflection on the construction components that define all chairs; a seat, a backrest and legs. In this case, the three elements are visually separated, connected by a single unifying triangle/wedge. Each side of the triangle serves to fix in place an element that creates the structure.
